In Class:

• Maya simulation: Day 1 and 2 Before Simulation
• Making a Stela
• Draw the outline of the deity
• Write your name
• Write a sentence that explains what you will bring to the group (i.e. dependable, helpful, innovative, honest, artistic, clever, friendly, cheerful, verbal hard-working, persistent, or good at a particular subject.)
• Individual team members should then introduce to the rest of the team the teammate sitting to his/her right.  Introductions should include the personal quality of the person being introduced. (i.e. "This is Anthony, and he will help our group because he is persistent.")
• Tape or staple all the groups' full-page drawings together, top to bottom, forming a long column topped with the name of the team's city.
• Display the stela proudly near your team meeting areas by taping the stela to a nearby wall.
