- map important physiographic features (physio mean physical, graphic means written down and feature means a particualr characteristic of something. Thus, a physiographic feature is a physical characteristic of the land - a lake, a mountain, a river, a desert- that is recorded on a map.)
In Class:
- Choose your partner
- Get a map (each person needs one), questions (one per pair), Geo Alive book, and an atlas
- Read the question, write the number and the question on the back of your map. Then write the answer.
- You will have to decide which resource (atlas or book, physical or political map) is best to help you find the answer. You will not be able to use your Chromebook.
- Ignore the dots for now!
- When finished turn your maps with your name to the basket.
- THESE ARE DUE BY THE END OF THE PERIOD
- Get the worksheet from the guest teacher and complete it on a separate piece of paper. DO NOT WRITE ON THE SHEET WITH THE QUESTIONS.
