In Class:
Objective: I will learn and use the universals of culture to explain my culture. I will also use the U of C to compare the Maya, Inca and Aztec civilizations. Finally, I will be able to use primary and/or secondary sources that are credible to explain what has happened in history.
Turn in any Maya maps you did not finish on Friday! Or pyramids if you got to do one!
Maya Glyph Name plates
1.On a sheet of paper you will draw boxes vertically. Make one box for each letter of your first name.
2. Then put your name in bubble letters, block letters or any way fancy. One letter per box.
3. Then draw the same number of boxes on the sheet of paper to write your Maya name.
4. Then you will use the Maya glyph sheet to draw a glyph of each letter of your name. Click here for a copy of the drawings.
5. Color your both sets of your name.
6. Fill up your paper by adding other Maya drawings by looking them up on Google!

Unfinished Maya Name Glyph due Tuesday. Create your own hieroglyphics due Wednesday- 2 sentences not 4!
